America is the most generous and compassionate country in the world. When disaster strikes, America comes to the rescue. Here are just a few examples of America's generousity towards other countries.
 

Look at some of these facts and figures:

  • The American people privately give over $34 billion overseas which is more than 3 times the official U.S. foreign aid of $10billion.
  • Non-government organizations supplies $6.6 billion in goods, volunteers, and grants.
  • U.S. businesses give over $2.8 billion annually.
  • Overseas religious ministries hand out $3.4 billion for healthcare, literacy training, development, and relief.
